Accepted the position of Grade 5 Teacher at Holy Cross Elementary/Junior High School. My focus primarily concentrated on Project work coupled with the integration of technology.

Technology Mentorship Teacher CCSD

My role as a Technology Mentorship Teacher was established due to my extensive knowledge of computer applications and software. In this position I am responsible for the following at three CCSD schools, St. Augustine, St. Martha, and St. Stephen.
Integration of teachers and students into the Desire to Learn (D2L) environment.
- Training of new and existing teachers in the basic and advanced features of D2L through scheduled PD and one on one sessions
- Working with Application Support, other Technology Mentorship Teachers and IT to provide necessary assistance in trouble shooting within the D2L environment.
- Testing of new versions of D2L to ensure the environments function accordingly and provide necessary feedback on issues and/or problems.
- Attending Desire to Learn symposiums to enhance my experience with the D2L environment.
Curriculum Integration
- Collaborating with teachers in the use of technology within their curriculum to enhance learning for both the teacher and students.
- Providing necessary classroom support in introducing a variety of technologies to the teacher and students.
Showcasing Technology for Education
- Production of high quality orientation materials to introduce students and teachers to the most popular education technology advances.
- The showcasing of Web 2.0 technologies and Google Chrome at both the school level and District level through Junior High and High School PD days.
- Production of Resource Technology materials for use by the District and teachers.
D2L and Website Maintenance
- Update and maintain all news, posts, and calendar events in both the D2L and school website environments.
- Attend D2L Forum on the features and upgrades in D2L.
- Promote social networking through the integration of Twitter on D2L and school websites.
Special Projects
- Established and participated in a number of special projects at both the Elementary and Junior High level.
- These included ESL Course support, claymation projects and set up of virtual environments for student learning encompassing the D2L environment.
- Facilitated the completion of the TTFM (Tell Them From Me) survey at both St. Augustine and St. Martha. Gathered all data and created presentations for administration and staff.
Practicum - Our Lady of Peace School CCSD

My responsibilities during the semester included the full time teaching of Spelling, Language Arts, Religion, Mathematics and Social Studies. All my lesson plans include the use of technology integration including Smart Board design and utilization. Through technology I have implemented a Universal designed classroom for all abilities of learners. Collaboration with my partner teacher and staff, student teachers, and field advisor has been a vital component in my progress to becoming a certified teacher.
Practicum - Maple Ridge School CBE

Successfully completed my practicum at Maple Ridge Elementary School for grades 3 and 4. Responsible for the creation and delivery of lesson plans in language arts, fine arts, mathematics and science/technology. Programmed and implemented interactive white board activities for curriculum delivery. I am also responsible for collaborating with my partner teacher in delivering all lessons created.
Practicum - Evergreen School CBE

I successfully completed my student teacher practicum at Evergreen Elementary School for Kindergarten. Responsible for the creation and delivery of lesson plans in language arts, fine arts, and mathematics . Programmed and implemented interactive white board activities for curriculum delivery. I developed Microsoft Power Point e-portfolios for the kindergarten class to showcase their school work and abilities. I was also responsible for collaborating with my partner teacher in delivering all lessons created.
